Just finally finished this the other day. Holy fucking hell this was an odd ass game.

I LOVED the first game (hence me picking American McGee’s design of Chess as my tattoo for my AiW leg piece) and thought it was fantastic, but the second one just took the amazing concept and design and characters that McGee gave us and improved upon it all. The battle system is much better now, with combo attacks included, and Chess himself just looks lovely.

I’m really really pleased and don’t regret buying it and I’m gonna go sink myself into it some more.
